Dazcat 1295XL
The 1295XL Dazcat Catamaran was crafted as a personalized, accessible cruiser for a family with three children who have special needs, enabling them all to enjoy the water. While Mangata 5 is a custom design, the 1295XL demonstrates the range of options available with Dazcat.
Dazcat 1295XL
Paradox, originally 30 feet (later extended), was designed for paraplegic sailor Alan to compete in the Royal Western Yacht Club’s two-handed Round Britain and Ireland Race.
This was also Simon Baker’s (now our Director) first project with Dazcat. Paradox went on to win the race three times, including once with Matt Baker, Simon’s brother. She also finished 2nd in her class in the Fastnet and won her class in the Round the Island race.
Dazcat Power 15 Desiderata
Desiderata is Dazcat’s first motorboat. Powered by two 435hp Volvos, she can reach impressive speeds. Based in Dartmouth, Desiderata is wheelchair accessible and was designed and built for Paul and Pauline Scholey, who were new to boating.
Dazcat 1295XL
"Artemis," constructed by Multimarine, is a sailing boat designed to be fully wheelchair accessible, ideal for circumnavigation and exploration. Its innovative design includes a unique sail configuration, enabling singlehanded sailing from a wheelchair.
